About TWC

The Waratah Centre was created in 2020 by Hayley Anderson, a psychologist, educator, and multiply neurodivergent woman.

Starting off as a solo practitioner with the aim of supporting children and young adults with their mental health, Hayley soon outgrew her small space in the Foster township.

The Waratah Centre has grown into a robust team of health and well-being professionals, including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Developmental Educators, Nurse Practitioners, Naturopaths, Allied Health Assistants, and Disability Support staff.

The Waratah Centre now supports hundreds of children, adolescents and adults with many aspects of their health and wellbeing.

The vision of creating a multidisciplinary team is for people to feel secure, comfortable and sense the genuine connection of a team invested in their health and wellbeing.

At The Waratah Centre, we deliberately do things differently.

We are actively invested in creating neurodiversity-affirming, trauma- and culturally informed spaces where people can know they are seen, feel they are heard, and experience a sense of safety.
