A Bit About Sophie
​We’re excited to welcome Sophie to The Waratah Centre team as our new Allied Health Assistant & Support Worker. Sophie brings a bubbly, friendly, and enthusiastic energy to her work, along with a genuine passion for supporting others. With a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance and experience running social groups and teen connect programs, Sophie enjoys helping participants learn and grow — often through playful, everyday experiences that feel natural and fun.
Sophie loves working with kids, and finds joy in making a difference, no matter how big or small.
Together with Daylene, Sophie runs our Social and Art Groups.
Outside of work, Sophie is all about family, beach days, and spontaneous adventures with her much-loved groodle, Odie, who has a big personality and a strong opinion about car windows! Whether it’s colouring, swimming, or exploring new places, Sophie’s calm, creative spirit shines through in everything she does.
