A Little Bit About Anna

AHA / Psychotherapist

Anna is a Psychotherapist with four years of clinical training in Gestalt Psychotherapy through Gestalt Therapy Australia. She brings over 20 years’ experience in Parent Education, Out of Home Care and Family Services.

Anna works with children, young people and adults, supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioural and relationship difficulties, unresolved trauma, sudden life changes and chronic health issues.

She has particular expertise in working with parents who are experiencing challenges with their children or within their families.

Currently working with TWC as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), Anna works under the supervision of our qualified psychologist, Hayley. In this role she assists with implementing therapy plans, practising functional skills, and supporting participants to work towards their therapy goals, promoting confidence and independence.

Anna will commence her role as a Psychotherapist in early 2026. Her therapeutic approach is relational and trauma-informed, integrating Gestalt therapy and somatic (body-based) awareness. At the heart of her work is deep listening and presence. She meets what is happening with curiosity and compassion, supporting clients to develop awareness, integrate experience and build capacity to meet life’s challenges with greater flexibility.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys walking her dogs along the beaches and trails of South Gippsland, spinning and knitting with wool from her alpacas, tending to her bees, and gardening on her two-acre property.

Anna's Motto: “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
