Currently completing her Master of Autism and Neurodivergence at the University of Wollongong, Daylene is working towards becoming a Developmental Educator. In this role, she will provide specialised support for individuals across the lifespan, focusing on developing functional life skills, increasing participation in meaningful activities, promoting independence, and enhancing overall quality of life. She will work closely with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement person-centred programs that reflect each individual's strengths, goals, and needs.

Daylene is excited to be part of The Waratah Centre team and looks forward to learning from the experienced professionals around her, as well as from the incredible individuals and families she is fortunate enough to work alongside.

Outside of work and study, Daylene enjoys a peaceful life on her bushland farm, which she shares with her family, four dogs, three cats, and an abundance of native wildlife. She loves getting creative with new crafty hobbies, listening to audiobooks, and collecting quirky and interesting treasures, including random facts.
